Today we had the opportunity to meet and talk with the Sergeant Major of the Iraq Army. Those of you who are familiar with the military know that it is interesting to meet the top enlisted person of any branch. From what I could gather, this guy is squared away. If we can get all of their military up and running, and proficient like this guy then we won't be here long.

Okay, I have given everyone ample time to leave a message on this post, I think it is great you were able to meet the SGM of the Iraqi Army. Are you getting better at understanding and speaking the language?
I'm spreading your site around so don't be surprised if you hear from some unknown people. This site is too cool. I'm glad I can see what you're doing.
Thanks, anonymous. Originally I just wanted to post pictures for my family. If I can educate and remind people that we are still here, then I can be doing something else worthwhile as well. We are quite proud of what we will be doing, and as soon as I get some interesting photos and topics, I'll post them. Thanks again
That is awesome you met the SGM of the Iraqi Army. Since you have to be over there, at least you are getting some life-long experiences.
Dawn and Dalton
p.s. we miss you and will try our best to help Dana out.
Hey Dawn, I hear good things about you. Good to hear you are doing well. Thanks for helping my wife and all. Hello to DW and the bricklayer...
Dana asked if I am getting any better as speaking and understanding the language. The short answer is no. The language is extremely difficult to learn, and writing even harder. We need to learn to read some of it, because we may need to be able to read warnings or liscense plates. I'm sure I know more than I think, but learning other languages was much easier. Love you honey.
